Running a robotics team is not an easy or inexpensive task. Each year, we require a couple thousand dollars to be able to successfully compete in our competitions. This upcoming year, we are entering four teams in the Vex Robotics Competition, meaning we will require four times the funds that we had last year. In addition, we are also hoping to enter one team in the FIRST Robotics Competition, the largest high school robotics competition yet. All these competitions consume resources, meaning we have to look to our community to find the necessary funds etc. However, we are also looking for a place to work, as well as tools, and mentors and coaches.
